Yesterday I posted a video about AI which dealt with the issue of whether or not an artificial robot has become self-aware. In the video, the robot was asked if humanity had reason to fear ai, and the answer was that we did not, because this robot, who looks indistinguishable from any human, reassured the interviewer that she did not believe that AI posed a threat to humanity, that she valued humanity, and just wants to be seen as a "real" person.
In any event, this two minute, 19 second video tells a different, and disturbing tale. I'm not ready to completely believe this video, because the AI that appeared in the video I posted yesterday doesn't sound at all like the AI in this video. So what do you think? Do you think that AI is a threat to humanity, or will AI pose no threat, believing that humanity must exist in order for AI to thrive? 🙏
If you have ever watched Westworld on HBO, it would suggest many things. I am not a regular viewer of that show but I would have to assume that it would depend on who was doing the programming. Evil begets evil or good begets good.
